Schroeder, Jenny Lynn (Temple)Rev. Jenny Lynn (Temple) Schroeder, 75, of Green Bay, beloved mother and pastor, departed this life on May 17, 2017, at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI after a short illness.Jenny was born on September 12, 1941 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late J. Emory and Jean (Pickard) Temple. Jenny was a graduate of Green Bay East High School Class of 1959, going on to earn her bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her masters degree from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. Jenny was a pastor in the United Methodist Conference, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Wrinkled Wrhymers, Learning in Retirement, the Girl Scouts, Retired Clergy Group, League of Women Voters, 4-H, Friends of the Community in Norwalk, WI, Howe Helpers, and First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading socially redeeming books, genealogy, writing poetry, jigsaw-puzzling, knitting, travel, her Aurora Baycare Chaplaincy but most of all, spending time with her grand-daughter. Jenny is survived by her Daughters, Ina G. (Tom) Munar and Jacquelynn B. Schroeder, Sisters, Anita J. Powers and Ina Temple, Brother, David Temple, and Granddaughter, Abigail M. Munar. Also, many family and friends.She is preceded in death by her Brother, Dwight (Betty) Temple, Sister-in-Law, Sonja Temple and Brother-in-Law, Robert Powers.Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 501 Howe St, Green Bay. A funeral service will follow at the church with Rev. Dave Wilkinson, officiating. Memorial contributions of time or treasure may be directed to the charity or cause of your choice.
