Coenen, Jerald JohnJerald J. "Jerry" Coenen, age 79, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 4, 2017. He was born on April 3, 1938, son of the late Otto and Marie (Hooyman) Coenen. Jerry worked as a truck driver for the Kimberly Mill for 42 years before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. His beautiful birdhouses can be seen in yards around the Valley and the Townsend area. He was also a U.S.

Veteran and a proud member of the American Legion Post# 44 in Wabeno. Jerry is survived by his children: Tim (special friend, Kathy), Brenda (special friend, Rob) and Shelli (special friend, Dave); step children: Ken (Sally) and Dave; grandchildren: Tim Jr., Tyler, Halie, Nick, Logan, Sara, Nate, Nikki, David, Joey and Deanna; several great grandchildren; siblings: Yvonne (Gordy) Sprangers, Julane (James) Feldkamp, LeRoy Coenen, Grace (Florian) Smits, Sue Coenen and Jim (Leslie) Coenen; sister-in-law, Tes Coenen; the mother of his children, Suzie Ziepke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra; a son, Marcus; his wife, Ginny; his parents, Otto and Marie; and a brother, Ron. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Full military honors will be performed following the Mass. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
