We gather here today to remember and honor the life of Jereline Blandin, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on December 12, 1962, in Arcadia, Florida, Jereline was known for her infectious smile, boundless love, and unwavering strength.
Jereline was the cherished daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Everhart Blandin. Their love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became. Growing up in Arcadia, Jereline attended Desoto High School, where she excelled academically and formed lifelong friendships. In 1980, she proudly walked across the stage, receiving her well-deserved diploma.
Shortly after completing her education, Jereline embarked on an extraordinary journey when she met the love of her life, Kingston Hillard. Their love story flourished, leading them to join their lives in marriage in the year 13. Together, they created a beautiful family that became the center of their universe.
Jereline and Kingston were blessed with four incredible children, whose individual spirits brought light, joy, and fulfillment to their lives. Kingston Jr., Jeanetta, Richard, and Earnest were Jereline's pride and joy. She poured her heart into being a loving and supportive mother, guiding them through the highs and lows of life, instilling in them the core values of kindness, determination, and perseverance. Her memories will forever be etched in the hearts of her children.
Jereline's legacy continued to grow as she welcomed nine precious grandchildren into her life. Being a grandmother brought her immense happiness, and she delighted in showering them with love and building lasting memories. The impact she made on her grandchildren will forever shape their lives.
Joyful, resilient, and compassionate, Jereline possessed a spirit that touched everyone she encountered. Her vibrant laughter brought warmth to the room, and her words of wisdom were sought-after by friends and family alike. No matter the circumstances, she faced life's challenges head-on with unwavering strength and an unwavering faith.
On June 25, 2023, we bid farewell to Jereline as she peacefully passed away due to sickness. While we mourn the loss of her physical presence, we find solace in the fact that her legacy will endure through the many lives she touched. The memories we shared, the love she gave, and the impact she made will forever remain etched in our hearts.
As we say our final goodbyes to Jereline Blandin, let us remember her as a true inspiration, a beacon of light, and a source of unwavering love. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory bring comfort and strength to those whose lives she touched. Rest well, dear Jereline. You will be loved, cherished, and remembered, always.
