Jeremiah Jaron Garcia, 18, of Hamilton St., passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Carlsbad. The family is having a Memorial service at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Oasis Christian Fellowship with Pastor Gabriel Rubio officiating. Cremation has taken place under the direction of West Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at westfuneralhomellc.comJeremiah was born on January 25, 1999 in Carlsbad, NM. He loved helping his father, hanging out with friends, hunting, swimming, playing ball, shooting his bow, going to the races and riding his pride and joy "crotch rocket" motorcycle around town with his best friend Hunter. He planned to enlist in the Military following High School. His warm hugs and beautiful smile will be forever longed for and sorely missed. Jeremiah is survived by his parents Gerardo and Nelda (Pena) Garcia of Carlsbad; siblings: Celeste Munoz (Alberto) and Karrie Garcia (Jeff Iipka) all of Kansas City, MO, Naomi Castillo (Albert), Jarred Garcia and Janna Garcia all of Carlsbad; grandparents, Martin and Isabel Garcia of Texas as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Pena and his uncle Armando Garcia.
