Jermone Malbon, 73, passed on October 16, 2020. He was born to Aronald Malbon and Antha Perry in Newark, New Jersey on July 19, 1947.
Together they raised 5 children: Jermone Jr., Juan, Shawn , Shane , and Stephanie. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Terrell Grace, Nikki Perry, Ayanna Perry, Tamir Malbon, Kayla Polhill and Kylin Polhill(deceased).
Jermone grew up in Newark, NJ and attended West Side High School. He worked as a bus driver for many years and retired in 2015. When he retired he began fishing more and enjoying the time he could spend with his grandchildren. Jermone loved his grandchildren so much, you would always see him with one of the six.
Jermone was an active member of the Newark community as well. His love of singing and dancing will be missed by many. He was a coach for years in the Newark community. He loved to teach the young youth the techniques of basketball and football on his spare time. He spent years coaching and training his sons and grandsons. He was a great father, grandfather, and friend Jermone always enjoyed spending time with his family. He always preached that family came before anything.
