Jerome was born August 15, 1973, in Springfield, Missouri and was a lifelong area resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo. He worked as head of janitorial at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and was an active member of helping the local troubled youth program.

He leaves behind his mother and step-father, Lisa and Anthony Jacobs, his father, Raymond Anderson, grandmother, Nancy Anderson his great-grandmother, Mildred Howard, Two brothers, Timothy Jacobs and Brian Anderson, One Sister, Angela Jacobs, One child Martell Anderson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2018, at the Cotrell Funeral Services, Gary Colt will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Jacobs, Raymond Anderson, Timothy Jacobs, Brian Anderson, Matthew Holloway and Bill Colvin.

Friends may call at the Cotrell Funeral Services, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
