Jerome Jones, beloved son, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 11, 2024, in Newport News, Virginia. Born on July 12, 1968, Jerome was the son of David and Paula Jones.

Jerome leaves behind a loving family, including his three children, Tashawn, Darrin, and Eric, as well as ten grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man, always putting the needs of his loved ones above his own.

Jerome attended Ferguson High School and graduated in 1985. He was a proud alumnus and cherished the memories he made during his time there. After high school, Jerome pursued his passions and hobbies, which included fishing, shooting pool, and cooking. He found joy and relaxation in these activities and shared them with those he loved.

Tragically, Jerome lost his battle with prostate cancer. Despite facing this difficult diagnosis, Jerome remained strong and positive, always putting on a brave face for his family. His resilience and courage inspired all who knew him.

Jerome will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
