Jerry M. ClarkJerry Martin Clark, 77, passed away on April 13, 2017 in Meridian, Idaho. He was born on November 20, 1939 in Lancaster, Ohio to Charles and Marian (Flood) Clark. Jerry married Barbara Brown of Filler, Idaho and they were married for 30 years. They have three children; Marian Cathleen Sprints (Arnold), Jeffery Martin (Kathy), and Matthew Harold (Amber). Jerry has four sisters and three brothers; Margaret Sprague, Sue Smith, Mary Ann Blaney, Judith Moreland, C. Thomas (Sharon), Bernard (Anita Sue) and William.Jerry worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for the US Air Force for 20 years and retired with an honorable discharge as a Senior Master Sargent (SMsgt). Jerry was very proud of the time he served our Country and served tours across the world. Jerry often said. I took care of "Uncle" and "Uncle takes very good care of me. As a Master Mechanic there wasn't anything he couldn't fix or "Jerry Rig". He truly was a master.Jerry was a model airplane builder and enthusiast. He learned this from his father. He was very active in the R/C model community and did his best to make the hobby accessible to anyone that wanted to fly. He had several great friends from the local clubs specifically the Nampa Model Aviators. Jerry had The garage full of planes and toys that everyone wanted to see and admire. Jerry loved to fish and especially loved being with his family. Jerry always loved to make a good deal and to find a good deal not only for himself but also for others when he thought you needed it, even if you didn't. Jerry was also a Master "wheeler and dealer". Jerry was very patient and meticulous. Everything had to be just right.Jerry is survived by his daughter, son, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one "Dam Cat". Jerry was preceded in death by wife, Barbara, (Married 1965-1995), son, Matthew Harold Clark, brother, Tom Clark, and wife, Judith Young (Married 2002-2017).Military Memorial service is to be held on May 8, 2017, 10: a.m., Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, Idaho, 83714. Memorial Services will also be held in Lancaster, Ohio. On May 7, 2017, a celebration of Jerry's life will be held at the Moose Lodge from 1-3 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. Mark's Catholic Church, May 10, 2017 at 6 p.m. with Father Peter Gideon as celebrant.Contributions may be made in Jerry's name to the Saint Mark's Food Pantry, 324 Gay Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
