Jerry Illing, 85 of Bellaire, Texas, passed on March 20, 2023. Jerry was born on September 07, 1938.He was born in Manhatten, New York to Arthur Illing and Catherine Meuser. He did most of his growing up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, but made his adult life in Bellaire,TX. He married Brenda Illing, with whom he made a life with, as well, as made a career as a hearing aid dispenser.

He loved life and his hobbies included fishing, tug boating, and anything to do with his Houston sport teams. He could talk sports to anyone as long as they " knew what they were talking about":)

He was an active member of the Bellaire Club for 44 years which was a huge part of his life.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, wife, Brenda Illing, brother, Bill Illing and grandson Gary Wade.

He is survived by daughter, Sheila Smith and significant other, Billy Betche, of Hobart, OK. Step daughter,April DeRosierand son Hyland Welch,Denver, CO. Grandson, Roger Smith and son ,Riley Smith Hobart, OK. Granddaughter, Tammy Wade, Altus,OK. Step granddaughter, Lindsey Betche and step grandson Dalton Betche both Hobart OK. Step great grand daughters, Ariona, Tieara and Julianna Elix, Hobart, OK. Step great grandson, Dontae Elix, also Hobart, OK.

Memorial services not yet determined, but there will be a small private service for immediate family members.

Jerry lived a long and prosperous life and will be carried on in the hearts of each and every survivor.
