Here lies Jerry Garrett, the man with a heart as big as his truck and a sense of humor as sharp as his turns. Born on March 5, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, Jerry left us on February 5, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Hellen Garrett, whom he married in 1998. Together they raised three wonderful children - Cody, Shane, and David. Jerry was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren who will always remember his knack for storytelling and bad dad jokes.

Before retiring in 1999, Jerry spent his days behind the wheel as a truck driver, navigating the open road with ease. He also served his country with honor in the Army, reaching the rank of Sergeant. Jerry's dedication to his work and his family was unmatched.

In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed watching football, grilling up a storm on the weekends, and teasing his grandchildren relentlessly. His infectious laughter and warm smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

So here's to Jerry Garrett, a man who lived life to the fullest and never missed a chance to make someone laugh. Rest in peace, dear friend. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.

You can to the family or in memory of Jerry Garrett.
