Jerry Gordon HarrisJackson, TNJerry Gordon Harris, age 65, died on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS.A native of Jackson, TN, Jerry was born on June 26, 1951 the son of Gordon Alvis and Doris Ann Arnold Harris. He was a graduate of Northwest College in Southaven, MS with a business degree. He was retired as a shipping supervisor and sales from Wonder Bread Hostess Cake, Coca Cola and Golden Flake Companies. He loved to water ski and go boating and enjoyed sharing his love for the water with his family. He loved taking care of his yard and spending time with grandkids on the weekends.He is survived by his wife, Carolyn White Harris of Southaven, MS; his parents, Gordon Alvis and Doris Ann Harris of Medon, TN; his sons, David Gordon Harris and wife Mandy of Olive Branch, MS, Jeremy Michael Harris and wife Lindsey of Memphis, TN and Brian Keith Harris and wife Laura of Denver, CO; his brothers, Jeff Harris and wife Dana of Medon, TN and Steve Harris and wife Marlyce of Lebanon, TN and his sister, Karen Sorrell and husband Dewayne of Bartlett, TN; six grandchildren, Alica Nicole Harris, Dallas Megan Harris, Brittany Nicole Mogy, Quentin Bryce Harris, Dalton Gordon Harris and Preston David Harris and three great-grandchildren, Brock Harris, Hunter Harris and Aspen Harris.SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1 at Clover Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
