It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jerry Kenney, who was born on March 14, 1927, in Milton, West Virginia, United States. He peacefully passed away in his sleep on July 12, 2024.

Jerry was the son of Mike Author Kenney and Gill Ann Kenney. In 1946, he married the love of his life, Doris Gean Kenney, and together they had four children: Jerry Kenney (spouse Debbie Kenney), Jeff Kenney, Leighann Clendenin (spouse Joe Clendenin), and Lisa Kenney Gilpin (spouse Duane Gilpin).

Jerry studied at Huntington High School and graduated in 1943. He went on to work at CSX Railway and dedicated many years to his career before retiring in 1996.

Jerry had a passion for fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in the great outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife, children, and six grandchildren.

Jerry will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
