Stiverson, Jerry 65, born on May 25, 1951 in Pratt, KS, to Dwight and Edna Stiverson. Jerry lost his courageous 10 year battle to Mesothelioma from asbestos on September 16, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Patrick. Jerry is survived by his wife of 26 years, Paula Seng Stiverson; son, Bryan (Gaylene) of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Branda (John) Reaves of Rose Hill, KS; and 5 grandchildren, Brandon and Chelsea Stiverson, David, Michael and Chase Reaves; and his beloved dog, Esprit, who laid by his side to the end. He loved his work as a Lineman for Butler Rural Electric Co-op for 37 years, and retired as a Line Superintendent and Staking Engineer. Jerry's passions were riding his Harley-Davidson Fat Boy and Roadking, and taking yearly trips to Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica with Paula. He also excelled at landscaping and woodworking. Spending time with his family and watching his grandkids grow up was a joy to him. Jerry impacted everyone he came in contact with and set the bar high. He will be missed by his family and friends who would all agree how loyal and genuine he was. At Jerry's request, there will be no funeral service or formal celebration of life. Cool Runnings, my Paul Bunyan, 143 "I Love You", Paula and Esprit.
