Jerry Urbanski unexpectedly passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on August 23, 1947, in Chicago, IL, Jerry's life was characterized by unwavering dedication to his family, kindness, and a love for traveling. His presence will be sorely missed by his family and friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Throughout the years, Jerry's warm laughter and contagious enthusiasm brought joy to countless lives. Jerry is remembered by his two children, Ryan and Shawna Urbanski, along with his two granddaughters, Chloe and Katelyn Urbanski.
Jerry was a proud Air Force veteran who served his time in Vietnam. He was dedicated to his work at Pepsi Co and spent countless hours working in order to care for his family and provide the best life to them. He was a passionately devoted husband to his wife of twenty-five years, Betty Urbanski. Jerry spent his time taking care of his wife during her illness, spending time with his granddaughters, completing numerous house projects, and most recently feeding Susie the squirrel.
Jerry loved to travel both in the states and internationally; however, the only part of traveling he did not enjoy was traveling solo. The greatest joy is knowing that on his final trip, Jerry now has his travel partner back, Betty Urbanski, where they will now enjoy the final destination together.
