Jesse Jones, 28, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed on October 10, 2023. Jesse was born on May 28, 1995. Jesse Cornelius Jones, was born on May 28, 1995 in Greenville, SC to Marvin Kennedy and Michele Jones. Jesse departed this earthly home October 10, 2023 at the Rainey Hospice of the Upstate.

Jesse, was a member of Flat Rock AME Church. He was a 2016 graduate of Westside High School. His favorite television shows were Texas Walker Ranger and Everybody Loves Raymond. Jesse was a very happy person and loved to laugh.

Jesse, leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Marvin Kennedy and Michele Jones of Anderson, SC; Six sisters, Renee Jones, Miranda Jones, Nikki Jones, Tywanda Jones, Tiernaey Mcullum and Yolanda Robertson all of Anderson, SC; Two brothers, Kedrick Williams and Shomar Chambers of Anderson, SC; one niece reared in the home, Nicole Hagood ; niece, LaPorsha Hagood of Anderson, SC ; three nephews, Rashun Hagood of Newberry, SC, Cornelius Jones, and Malik Hagood all of Anderson, SC; four great-nephews and two great-nieces all of Anderson, SC; two special people, Melissa Mark and Kayla Nicholas and a host of uncles, aunts, one great-aunt, one great-uncle, one great-great-aunt, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Billy Clinkscales and Beluah Clinkscales, maternal grandparents, David Edwards and Alice Evans White, paternal great-grandmother, Bennie Lee Williams Jones, maternal great-grandparents, Walter and Wille Evans.

Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by the life of Jesse Cornelius Jones are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Flat Rock AME Church, Abbeville, SC with the interment to follow in the church cemetery.

The public visitation will be Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson.
