Jesse Perez Franco, 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was born on June 17, 1953 in Yuma. Jesse graduated from Yuma High School in 1972. He served 2 years in the
United States Marine Corp. Jesse retired from YPG in 2009 after 33 years.Jesse was always the life of the party. He was well known for his jokes and stories. He was a big Arizona Cardinals fan. Jesse loved spending time with his grandkids. He used to sit outside on Sunday nights listening to Beer Run Bobby. When Jesse was not spending time with his family, he was at the casino. Every Thursday morning, Jesse would go and have his weekly meetings at Chile Pepper with his YHS buddies.Jesse is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughters, Jennie (Chris) Limones and Lori (Steven) Moreno; grandchildren, Christian Limones, Adrian Limones, Isaac Moreno, and Ariana Limones; sisters, Annie Gonzales and Lupe Duarte; and brother, Joe Franco. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Isabel Franco; and brothers, Tony and Manuel Franco.A wake will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 5:00pm-9:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 505 S. Avenue B, Yuma. His final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.Pallbearers are Christian Limones, Joe Franco, Manny Franco, Roger Martinez, Frank Gonzales, Frank Arviso, and Steve Medel.
