Jessica Ramirez-Zamora, beloved daughter of Javier and Sara Ramirez, was born on June 1, 2003, in Lexington, Nebraska. She tragically passed away on April 24, 2024, while on vacation in South Africa.During her life, Jessica attended Lexington High School and graduated in 2021. She then went on to pursue higher education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. After completing her studies, she began working at Nebraska Medicine until her retirement in 2024.Jessica had a passion for soccer, gym workouts, reading, and traveling. She enjoyed exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Her adventurous spirit led her to South Africa, where she met an untimely end.While on a safari in South Africa, Jessica found herself being chased by an elephant. In a tragic turn of events, she tripped and fell, and the elephant accidentally stomped on her, leading to her untimely death.Jessica will be remembered for her kindness, adventurous nature, and zest for life. She touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues.May she rest in peace.
