Jessie Phelps Jr, a beloved member of the Haddock, Georgia community, passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 55. He was born on November 15, 1967, to his loving parents Jessie Phelps Sr. and Ann Pope.
Jessie grew up in Haddock, Georgia and attended Jones County High School where he graduated in 1985. He was an exceptional student and his hard work and dedication paid off when he earned his diploma. After completing his education, Jessie began his career as a truck driver. He put his heart and soul into his work, and his coworkers and clients held him in high regard.
Jessie was the proud father of three children, Jessica Clark with spouse Cedric Clark, Darian Patterson with spouse Gala Patterson, and Samerian Pitts. It was evident to everyone who knew Jessie that he loved his children immensely, and he did everything in his power to make them feel loved and supported.
Throughout his life, Jessie was an active member of his community. He was passionate about helping others and always went out of his way to lend a helping hand wherever he could. He was deeply loved by his family and friends for his kind and compassionate spirit, and his passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jessie's family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to them during this difficult time. They are comforted by the memories and love that Jessie shared with them during his life, and they ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Unfortunately, Jessie's battle with lung cancer came to an end on May 26, 2023. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone in the Haddock, Georgia community.
