It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jessie Phillips, who was born on June 10, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. She peacefully left this world on October 19, 2024.

Jessie, lovingly known as Mrs. Phillips was the beloved daughter of Johnny Craig Phillips and Mary Ann Anderson. She was the proud mother of four children: Robin Phillips, Tiffany Burris, Linda Burris, and Cheryl Brown. She also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren.

For over 40 years, Mrs. Burris dedicated her career to the textile industry, where she made lasting connections and impact. She was a true professional and a pillar in her community.

In her free time, Jessie enjoyed cooking delicious meals and caring for her family members. She was a nurturing soul who always put others before herself.

Jessie was a cherished member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, where she found strength and solace among her church family. Her warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Though Jessie may no longer be with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, Mrs. Burris, your legacy will continue to shine brightly.
