FREMONT — Jessy Whittaker, age, 20, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, as the result of a traffic accident in Steuben County, Indiana. He was born on Oct. 5, 1995, in Angola, Indiana, the son of Johnnie and Christina (Wilson) Whittaker. Jessy graduated from Fremont High School in 2014. He was currently an employee at Indiana Marine Products in Angola, Indiana. He enjoyed target shooting, baseball, and video games. His dream was to serve in the United States military someday. Survivors include his parents, Johnnie and Christina Whittaker of Fremont, Indiana; his sisters, LaLanna Wilson of Kendallville, Indiana, and BreeAnn, Sonya and Sorina, Whittaker, all of Fremont, Indiana; his grandparents, Nancy (Robert) Rice of Fremont, Indiana, Paul (Phyllis) Whittaker of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and Mary and Ken Clark of Hudson, Indiana; and a great-grandmother, Fay Maloney of Albion, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Walter Wilson, and a great-grandmother, Martha Brown. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. A private family graveside service will be held at Rehoboth Cemetery, Albion, Indiana.
