With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jestine Campbell on August 26, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. Jestine was born on February 25, 1930, to her loving parents Justin and Willa Mae Woods.

Jestine married her beloved spouse, Washington Bundy, in 1950, and together they raised four children: Gregory with spouse Patricia, Christopher with spouse Virginia, Sherry with spouse Clifford, and Rita. Jestine was also a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

After graduating from Loyola High School in 1948, Jestine continued her education at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where she graduated in 1969. She went on to work as a bookkeeper for 60 years and was actively involved in community outreach with the church where she was saved, Greater Page Temple. She also taught Sunday school, she dedicated time to serving on the church board, youth ministry, and the usher organization.

Jestine was a devout woman of God, instilling holy principles in her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She attended Greater Page Temple for 70 years until her death. She found fulfillment in helping the less fortunate, attending church, long car rides, going on vacations to Prayer Mountain, and dressing up. She had a compassionate heart while praying for others hoping to bring smiles to their faces. Away from church Jestine also enjoyed knitting, throwing parties, gardening, cooking, and dancing.

Jestine will always be loved and remembered for her laughter, support, and comfort. Jestine's vibrant and loving nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She has now gained her wings and joined the Lord. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
