Jimmy Alford, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 21, 2025, in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, United States. He was born on March 6, 1950, to Darius and Susan Alford.

Jimmy married the love of his life, Lisa, in 1998, and together they raised two wonderful children, Alton and Chris. He adored his grandchildren, bringing joy and love into their lives.

Jimmy attended Custer High School and went on to serve in the Army, retiring in 1979 after many years of dedicated service. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family.

Jimmy will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and sense of humor. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Jimmy Alford is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, his children, Alton and Chris, and his four grandchildren.
