PAGELAND - Mr. Jimmy Mitchell Jordan, 68, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family.Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his parents, Clarence P. and Sudie Eubanks Jordan of Pageland; son, Mitchell Jordan (Cindy) of Pageland, and daughter, Cynthia Parker of Pageland; step-daughter, Deborah Kelley (Brian) of Florence, SC; sister, Lou Ellen Rowell (Richard) of Pageland; grandchildren, Zachary Parker, Allie Parker, Peyton Parker, Bethany Jordan and Preston Jordan all of Pageland, and nephew, Matthew Johnson of Pageland.Mr. Jimmy Mitchell Jordan was born on July 17, 1948 in Monroe, NC to Clarence P. Jordan and Sudie Eubanks Jordan. Jimmy started Jim's Variety and was the owner and operator of Goob's Restaurant in Pageland. He was a former member of the Pageland Rescue Squad and Fire Department. Jimmy was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Mt. Moriah 58 Masonic Lodge and also a member of the Sandhill Shrine Club. He was an avid Nascar and Football fan.A Celebration of Life Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Zion United Methodist Church with Pastor James Lewis and Pastor Roger Wall officiating.
