Jo Anne Blalock Kinder CHERRYVILLE-- Mrs. Jo Anne Blalock Kinder, 73, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Somerset Court in Cherryville. Mrs. Kinder was born on March 3, 1943 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Jesse A. Blalock and Frances Hodgson Blalock. She worked for Murphy Oil Company in Arkansas as secretary to the Vice President and retired from the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. Mrs. Kinder was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kinder and a brother, Richard Blalock. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda Minnich and husband David of Lincolnton and Julie Sanders and husband Vernon of Atlanta, GA; a granddaughter, Sadie Jo Sanders and a sister, Linda Kittrell of Collierville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
