Prior to her cancer diagnosis, Joan had plans to start her own business creating flower bouquets and arrangements crafted from recycled and resourced materials, it was to be called "Forever Flowers". Her greatest source of joy was her family, specifically her children and grandchildren. Joan was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a source of inspiration to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
