We mourn the passing of Joan Blackwood, who was born on July 20, 1968 and left this world on March 30, 2014. She resided in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States and was the beloved daughter of Bernice Bell. Joan was the loving spouse of Junior Allen, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage. Together, they were blessed with three children - Roan Bookal, Akeeno Allen, and Tajay Allen.

Joan dedicated her life to helping others as a License Registered Nurse. She was known for her compassion, dedication, and professionalism in her field.

Joan's life was tragically cut short by cancer, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
