Joan H. Clark, 88, formerly of Conneaut Lake, died on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Manchester Commons. She was born on August 30, 1928, in Sharon, a daughter of Victor H. and Mabel J. Murphy Henry. She married Donald E. Clark on June 9, 1951. She was a 1950 graduate of Westminster College with a Bachelor's degree in English. She worked as a teacher at several schools over the years, retiring from Meadville High School. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, where she was member, moderator and past president of its Presbyterian Women. She had been active in the Erie Presbytery. She was a former member and past president of the Meadville Grottoettes and the former Mead Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She was also a member of the PA Association of School Retirees. Calling hours will be Monday, October 24th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 25th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, P.O.
