A Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, Feb. 17th at 11 am, Visitation from 10 to 11am at Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patricks Lane, Edina. MN, Fr. Timothy Rudolphi officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Joan was born on Jan 2nd, 1941 in Newport, RI to Frank and Mary Silvia. Joan was a graduate of St. Catherine Academy in Newport, RI She was the first woman to serve as board member of the Decathlon Athletic Club. Joan was involved in many church and social functions. Joan met and married Kenneth R. Holthaus of Melrose, MN on June 18, 1966. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth R. Holthaus, children, Andy, New Prague, MN and Perry, Henderson, MN. Grandchildren, Chase, Ellisa, Alix and Tyler.
