Joan SellandFREMONT: Joan Selland, 75, of Fremont passed away on November 27, 2016 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1941 in Youngstown to Andrew Sr. and Anna (Porbinsky) Buksar. In 1959, she graduated from Michigan Center High School. Joan married Arthur "Art" Selland on October 8, 1960 in Jackson, MI, he passed June 30, 2001. Surviving are her children, James (Tom) Selland of Fremont, and Diane (James) Werner of Temperance, MI; grandchildren, Jessica Werner and Jeremy Hoffman; siblings, Edward (Barb) Buksar, Ronald (Helen) Buksar, John Buksar, and Robert Buksar.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Andrew Buksar; and sisters-in-law, Sally Buksar and Pat Buksar. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 900 North St., Fremont, OH 43420. Additional visitation will also be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Hampton Funeral Home, 4204 Ann Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49202, where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Chapel Cemetery, MI.
