WALTERMAN JoAnn Margaret Walterman, 82, of Overland Park, KS passed away on November 29, 2016. Mass will be 11:00 am on Saturday, December 3rd at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, KS with visitation from 9-11 am and the Rosary at 10:30 am on Saturday prior to the service. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Queen of the Holy Rosary Church/Christmas Angel Program. JoAnn was born on April 2, 1934. She was known for her open heart and generous spirit, as she never knew a stranger. She spent her life helping others. JoAnn was a proof reader for Herff Jones, where she worked for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth Walterman; son, Joseph Walterman and granddaughter, Brandy Mae Walterman. She left behind her daughter, Peggy Ballou (John); son, Kenny Walterman (Jennifer); son, John Walterman; brother, Joseph Nitz (Lisa); sister, Mary; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
