We are saddened to announce the passing of Joann May, who left us on June 4, 2024, in Middletown, Ohio. Born on December 6, 1965, to her loving parents Joe Shickel and Hazel Faulk, Joann lived a vibrant and fulfilling life.

Joann married her beloved husband Ronald May, and together off and on they raised three wonderful children: Crystal Ann May, Ronald Kelly May, and Dawn May. She adored her 12 grandchildren, and 1 heavenly grandchild who brought endless joy and laughter into her life.

Joann had a selfless heart always putting everyone else above her own happiness and would do anything for anyone no matter what she loved deeply and had a genuine and honest heart.

Her one and only true love of her life was Ronald May, they were the best of friends in the beginning and in the after life may they rekindle the love they once new.

Joann dedicated her career to working as a home health provider, where she provided compassionate care to those in need. In her free time, she found solace in art, crafts, and painting, showcasing her creativity and talent. Joann was also an active member of a women's group, where she made lifelong friendships and shared countless laughs.

Joann's kind spirit and infectious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though we are heartbroken by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she passed away peacefully from natural causes.

Joann will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and her memory will live on through the love she shared with her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Joann.
