Joanne Hoyle Grant "Nanny", 82, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Spring Arbor.Ms. Grant was born on June 27, 1934 in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of Margaret McCaslin Hoyle of Chester and the late Robert David Hoyle. She attended Chester High School and was retired from the Billing Department of the City of Rock Hill. She had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded by a son, Randy D. Grant; two brothers, Robert T. Hoyle of Chester and Charles L. Hoyle of Wilmington, NC.In addition to her mother, Ms. Grant is survived by two sons, Harold Grant and David "Red" Grant (Anne), both of Rock Hill; one sister, Mickie Hoyle Ailshie (Jack) of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Charlotte Hoyle of Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren, Kylie Carroll (Chann), Nick Grant, Brad Grant, Jason Grant, Samantha Stargell (Jonathon), Kameryn Grant and Logan Grant; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Special thanks to the staff at Spring Arbor Memory Care Cottage for their dedicated and compassionate care. Services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2106 at 11:00 AM, Westminster Presbyterian Church Chapel, 1320 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
