We are saddened to announce the passing of Joe Carrion, who was born on January 6, 1952, in San Lorenzo, San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, to Juan Carrion and Facunda Martinez. He peacefully left this world on February 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Joe is survived by his devoted spouse, Cary Dalton, whom he married in 1979. Together they raised three children: Jessica, Jonathan, and Aracellis. He was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren.

Joe attended Luis Martin High School, where he graduated in 1972. He went on to further his education at Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, where he obtained his degree in 1981. He started his career at Puerto Rico Steel Products and dedicated many years of service until his retirement in 2023.

Prior to his career, Joe served in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant in the Big Red One unit for 14 years, where he demonstrated his bravery and dedication to his country.

Outside of his professional life, Joe had a passion for baking and loved to share his creations with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his delicious treats and warm heart.

Joe Carrion will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
