I was given the gift of life, and now I have to give it back.
Joe James Wheatley, age 53 , of Douglasville, GA was called home on January 30,2020. He was born November 17, 1965 in Columbia, TN. Joe a vet of United States Army for 16 years .He enjoyed playing cards and was very talented artists . He was a member of The Eastern Stars. Joe was a cafeteria manager and dietician of an elementary school was a great cook.
He has been reunited with his parents, George and Jennie Wheatley; and sister Brenda
He is survived by his daughter and sons Steffhen and DeMaurio Cummings, Shikira Wheatley ; five grandchildren, Brittany, Jreana, Demarcus, Faith and Noah.
