Our beloved Joe Crapps, 48, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this earth and entered eternal life on August 30, 2023. Joe was born on September 07, 1975, to Mary Carolyn Newson Crapps and Joe Robert Johnson.

Joe was born and raised in Springfield, MA where he attended Roger L. Putnam High School

Joe worked at various places throughout the city doing what he loved. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing cards, watching sports and spending time with his kids, family and friends. His favorite football team was the New Orlean Saints. Joe was the most humble, loving, outgoing, funny and caring person you could ever meet. He'd give you the shirt off his back. To know him was to love him. He got love from any and everyone including strangers. Joe also had a passion for dancing, singing and playing basketball in his younger days. No one wanted to guard him on the court.

Joe was predeceased by his two brothers Myron Crapps and James Crapps; Fraternal and Maternal grandparents.

Although Joe departed from our earthly presence, part of his spirit lives on in the hearts those he left behind. Survived by his mother Mary C Crapps, his father Joe R. Johnson. three brothers Anthony (Carmen) Crapps, Kevin Crapps and LaShawn (Davina) Sheldon. Two sons Joe Crapps, Terrian Mitchell, his daughter Skyla Mitchell and his unborn granddaughter all of Springfield

Joe also leaves behind a host of family as well as friends
