Born June 23, 1933, in Seattle, WA; died March 27, 2020 in Bellevue, Washington.
Preceded in death in 2019, by his loving wife Tommie Dale.
Survived by his children, Pamela, Douglas, Stephen, Theresa, Debra, Bill, and Mark; grandchildren, Catherine, Danielle, Rilyn, Marcus, and Carson; caregiver and friend Margaret. Preceded in death in 2004 by his granddaughter, Sarah Woo.
John M. Kelly was a caring, and giving husband, father, and friend; the strong, silent type. Born in Seattle, Washington, he lived a full and rich life. Jack graduated from O’Dea High School in 1951. He attended US Naval Training Academy #209 1952 in San Diego, and was stationed in Kodiak AK. In 1960, Jack joined the King County Sheriff’s Office where he supervised the North Precinct, traffic unit, search and rescue, and the marine patrol unit. He was appointed Acting Chief of Police for the City of Issaquah.
Jack had many interests including getting his private pilot’s license, boating, traveling in his motor home, and activities with his family and friends.
Dad, we will never forget your sacrifices, guidance, commitment, and strength throughout your life, and the challenges of the past several years. We will miss you, and take comfort that you have joined mom, and together you both will forever hold us in your light and love.
