Mr. John Cassius Miller, of Vandemere, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4th, 2019. “Cash,” as he was affectionately called, was preceded in death by his wife Madeline last year.
Cash was a student at Pamlico Technical School. After his education, Cash began working with his family at The Vandemere Dehydration Plant. He was employed there for 50 years before retiring in 2002. During his life, Cash was a member of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a dedicated deacon for the last 20 years of his life. Cash was preceded in death by his wife Madeline and his son Micheal. He is survived by his children Roger Miller (Sandra), Tamela Spencer (Daniel), Cora Pearsall (Mack), Diana Jones (Snoop) and Rita Gibbs (Sultan). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, visits, and condolences during this time. There is also a special thank you that the family would like to extend to the St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church All Men’s Choir for serving as ushers and for hosting the family for the viewing. Your kindness and care are greatly appreciated.
