John Chris Toves "Johnny", beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma, United States. He was born on November 4, 1959, to Pedro Gogue Manglona Toves (Deceased) and Maria Ichihara Williams.

John was a devoted partner to Elina Miline Toves and a loving father to his three children, Nadia, Aren Maria Toves, and John Kina Toves.

John is survived by so many loving family and friends. Siblings: Wanda T Materne (Norbert Aguon), Alan Toves (Barbara S.), Catherine Ranches (Leo Ranches), Ronald P. Toves, David S. Toves, Jackie Toves (widowed), and Melissa Tuseth (Rick Tuseth). Mother-in-Law: Aren Kina. Fathers-in-Law: Joseph Miline and John Kina (Deceased). He also leaves behind his ex-spouse and lifelong friend, Tessie Abaya (mother to Girlie & Marjorie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

He was a graduate of George Washington High School and had a passion for dancing and listening to oldies music. He was also a lifetime fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Johnny's memory will be cherished as a beacon of love, ambition, and joy within his community and beyond. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Rest in peace, John Toves. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved you.
