John Christopher Parshall, age 47, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall Street, Grapevine, Texas. Burial: following at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, Texas. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday prior to the funeral. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends. He was born on April 22, 1969, in Irving. He attended MacArthur High School and graduated in 1987. Following high school, he attended the University of North Texas and graduated with an accounting degree and a finance degree. He was an entrepreneur at heart and built several businesses over the years. He enjoyed watching, playing and coaching sports. From baseball and football in high school to basketball and ju jitsu during his adult years, he has always been an athlete. But, as much as he loved sports, spending time with his children and family was what he loved most. He was a loving, caring and dedicated father who will be greatly missed. He was predeceased by his father, John Thomas Parshall. Chris is survived by his wife, Erin; two daughters, Savannah and Cassidy; two sons, William and John; his mother, Donna Akers; two brothers, Kevin Parshall and Michael Whitt; and his sister, Sarah Whitt.
