John H. Clark1927 - 2016John H. Clark, 89, of Trevor, Wis., died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 27, 2016, at Manor Care in Kenosha, Wis.John was born on Jan. 3, 1927, in Battle Creek, Mich., the son of the late Rene H. and Wilhelmina Kiesel Clark. On May 10, 1952 in Waukegan, Ill., John was united in marriage to Theresa M. Schiller. They lived in Zion, Ill., until moving to Trevor in 1965.John served in the U.S. Air Force as a Private First Class during WWII. He was the owner and operator of the Antioch Laundromat and the Twin Lakes Dry Cleaners. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wilmot, Wis. He was also a member of the Zion, Ill. Moose Lodge and the Wilmot Masonic Lodge. He was an avid NASCAR Fan. He enjoyed watching his sons, grandsons and granddaughter's participating in sporting events.John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Theresa; four children, H. Rion (Ruth) Clark of Silver Lake, Wis., Marie (Walter) Ellis of Silver Lake, Wis., Roger Clark of Silver Lake, Wis., and Michael Clark of Trevor, Wis.; daughter in law, Connie Clark of McHenry, Ill.; nine Grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one brother, Rene Clark of Virginia.John was preceded in death by one son, John Clark and one sister, Patsy Schumacher. A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes.
