Brzezinski, John D.John D. Brzezinski, 82, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at St. Agnes Hospital.He was born on April 26, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a son of Frank and Josephine Freimuth Brzezinski.John served with the United States Army Reserves.On October 27, 1956, he married Carolyn Becker in Milwaukee.John and Carolyn were brought to Fond du Lac by the A&P Tea Company in 1965. He owned and operated, with his brother-in-law, Don Becker, Borden's B& B, and later, owned John's Butcher Block, finishing his meat cutting career at Piggly Wiggly in Waupun. He retired at the age of 81 after being diagnosed with ALS. John was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He was on the Town Board Planning Commission for the Town of Empire and loved making maple syrup.He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his son, David (Kelly) Brzezinski of Fond du Lac, and their children: Shawn, Josh, Cory, and Tyler; his daughter, Lisa (Bob) Baldauf of Fond du Lac, and their children: Shane (Brittany), Brett, Kyle, and Aaron; a brother, Don (Nancy) Brzezinski; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Frank and Dick Brzezinski; and a sister, Virginia Laabs.VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 855 Martin Avenue, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Brett Naumann and Rev. Adam Zimpelmann officiating.Cremation has taken place with inurnment in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park.Memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter,
