On July 23, 2025, the world lost a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, John Coleman. Born on February 22, 1979, in San Francisco, California, John was the son of John and Cheri Coleman.

John was married to his partner Vincent, John also had three children: Elijah, Andrew, and Katelyn. Their families grew over the years, and John was blessed with seven grandchildren. John also had a twin brother and two sisters: Jason, Patricia, and Pamela

John was a dedicated student who graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1997. He continued his education at Walden University, where he excelled in his studies.

Throughout his career, John made a lasting impact on those around him. He worked at the Martinez VA Outpatient Clinic, where he showed compassion and dedication to his patients every day. In addition to his civilian career, John also served in the Army, achieving the rank of E-5.

Despite his many accomplishments and the love of his family, John battled inner demons that ultimately led to his untimely death by suicide. His passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

John Coleman will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering love for his family, and his commitment to serving others. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
