John H. Doll, Jr.BrogueJohn H. Doll, Jr. 74, died Monday, September 19, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy. He was the husband of Pauline V. (Dubs) Doll, with whom he celebrated a 49th Wedding Anniversary on September 16th, Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, September 22, 2016 at St. Paul's (Dub's) Church, 1958 Dub's Church Road, Hanover, with Rev. Larry M. Estepp and Rev. Kathleen A. Kuehl officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday at St. Paul's (Dub's) Church. Mr. Doll was born on March 27, 1942 ,in York County and was a son of the late John H., Sr. and Florence H.L. (Krout) Doll.John graduated in 1961 from South Western High School, Hanover, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War Era. He was a self-employed dairy farmer and farmed for all of his life in the Chanceford Township, Glenville and Hanover areas. He currently was working part-time for Star Rock Farms in Brogue.He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Brogue, and was a former member of the 4-H Club and FFA.Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Leesa A. Hazelett and her husband Daniel of Hanover and Kathlene C. Zeigler and her husband Alex of York; grandchildren, Cordin Schwartz, Hope Schwartz, Hayden Hazelett, Talan Miller, Benjamin Zeigler, and Ryleigh Zeigler; three sisters, Norma Myers of Dillsburg, Doris Yeager of York and Darlene Cole of Glen Rock; two brothers, Dale E. Doll of Glen Rock and Burnell R.
