Bailey, 71, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. John was born on October 29, 1945 in Muncie, Indiana to John and Dorothy (Matchett) Bailey.  He was raised in Eaton with his brothers Larry and Randy.  He attended Eaton High School and would later become a mechanic.John worked for Crown City Garage in Dunkirk for over twenty years.  After the garage closed, John went to work for Fuqua Chrysler Dodge in Dunkirk.  He would retire from Fuqua's after 20 years of employment.John was a talented mechanic and was well-known for his honesty.  He enjoyed restoring cars but most of all he loved his family and his grandchildren.He is survived by his three sons: Brett Bailey (Amanda), Kevin Bailey (Michelle), and Perry Bailey (Kayla), five grandchildren: Ryan, Alexis, Alli, Ethan, and Dylan; a brother, Larry Bailey (Jo), as well as several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Bailey.Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S.
