Gegare, John "Jack"John "Jack" Gegare, 70, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, with his children by his side.He was born on December 9, 1945, in Duck Creek to Ernest and Evelyn (Vanden Plas) Gegare. Jack attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and graduated from Premontre High School in 1964. He enlisted in the U.S.
Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1976. In 1965, he married Lynn Massey at Annunciation Catholic Church, Green Bay WI. They initially settled in Green Bay and finally built and established their home with their children in Suamico, WI.Jack proudly joined and worked alongside his father and brother in establishing the family business, Gegare Tile, Inc. His extreme care and time spent in his carpentry trade was evident throughout his employment in the family business as well as future employment he had outside Gegare Tile. Jack was always willing to help out a family member or friend with their building project, whether it was helping with the creation of a blueprint design for a home or shed, or putting in different types of flooring designs or a ceiling installment. Jack was always willing to help whoever needed the assistance - no matter the cost. He enjoyed being able to teach his skills that he mastered over his lifetime. He has always been a very giving, and generous man.When Jack was not working on his newest project, he could be found "up north" and with his family. Over the years, his time was spent hunting, four-wheeling, riding his motorcycle and snowmobiling. Jack enjoyed his hobbies the best when his children were by his side. Above all, he loved and took great pride in his children, grandchildren, his sister and friends.Jack is survived by his four children, Camielle (Brent) Goral, Joey (Mona) Gegare, Jon (Alisa Anderson) Gegare, Bree (Chad) Decker; ten grandchildren, Lyon, Stone, Baye, and Willow Goral, Zachary and Jackson Gegare, Lauren Gegare, Alex, Evie and Will Decker; former wife, Lynn Massey and his other Massey "brothers and sisters"; a sister, Donna (Ronald) Oryall; brother, Jim; and nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his devoted dog, Fred.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Evelyn Gegare; a niece and nephew, Sandy and Mark Cornell. He was also preceded in death on the Massey side by, Lorraine and Richard Massey and Mark Massey.Friends and family may call at River's Bend, 792 Riverview Dr., from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
