John H. BairdCAMBRIDGE: John H. Baird, age 99, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville. He was born on September 30, 1914 in Old Washington, Ohio, son of the late John E. Baird and Mary Elizabeth (Strong) Baird. Mr. Baird was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cambridge and the Men's Brotherhood Sunday Class. He was a retired farmer and employee of the Cambridge State Hospital. John is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Nelson Baird, on October 6, 1990; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Faye Marley of AZ, Jean Baird of PA; and numerous great nieces and nephews including, Terry Copechal of PA and good friend, Lester Stiers of Dalton, OH.Visitation will be on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 11am to 1 pm with the service at 1 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Rev. Max Beery officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
