John Harris, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was born on April 5, 1940, to John and Rachel Harrison.

John married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Harrison, in 1955, and together they raised two children, Leonard and Dana. After graduating from Page High School in 1958, John proudly served in the Army.

Throughout his life, John was known for his unwavering love and dedication to his family. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.

Tragically, John lost his courageous battle with prostate cancer, but his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

John Harris will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and strength. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
