Mr. John Henry Panezotti, Jr., age 71, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on November 4, 2016 peacefully at home with his husband by his side. John was born on July 18, 1945 in Salem, Ohio a son to the late John Henry, Sr., and Betty Jane Steves Panezotti. John spent his entire life as a devout Roman Catholic. He is survived by his husband, Robert J. Marchek; step-son, Raymond A. Marchek; step-daughter, Kathryn Storm (Michael); step-grandson, Cole Michael McBride; step-granddaughter, Savannah Rose Storm, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; his former wife, Wendy Grega Critzer, of Pocatello, Idaho. John retired from Orthopedic Associates of Youngstown, Ohio and honored his county by dedicating his service to both the US Navy and then US Marines, serving in the Vietnam War. He was also a Franciscan Brother. John's family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 at Kalis-McIntee Funeral Home, 2505 N. Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors. Catholic Funeral Rites will be performed at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest at the Grandview Cemetery in Salem, Ohio.
