Born April to Jean Jones and John Jones Sr who proceeded him in death in Memphis, TN. At the age of 13, John relocated from Memphis to Detroit, MI. At age 22 he was hired at Chrysler LLC where he would meet his wife, Bobbi Jones. Bobbi and John had five girls: Claudia Conner, Necole Patrick, Sandra Jones, Cleopatra Jones, and Shon Jones. 7 grandchildren: Nashayla Sanders, Allen William, Emmitt Conner III (Ashley Conner), Dajon Williams, Brianna Jones, Waine Johnson, Dewaine Johnson. 11 great grandchildren: Aubrey Williams, Emmitt Conner IV, Erin Conner, Isaiah Conner, Elijah Conner, Emersyn Conner, Josiah Williams, Logan Bennett, Marley Johnson, Mari Johnson. Brother Henry Jones who has proceeded him in death and a slew of cousins, friends, and loved ones.

John Jones Jr., 77, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on October 3, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1947. John was a dedicated member of his community, known for his kindness and generosity. He had a passion for helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. John had a love for nature and spent much of his time outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the world around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
