John Crudup of Burien, Washington, passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on November 10, 1945, to the late John McKee and Arletha Crudup. He had 6 siblings 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is preceeded in death by his brothers Tomy, Edward, Steve and his Sisters Cynthia {deceased}, Gloria and Juanita {deceased} and numerous nieces and nephews.
John's extended family of Longshoremen and Harley Davidson enthusiasts who shared his love of motorcycles.
John had a full and adventurous life. He attended Walla Walla High School, graduating in 1964, and went on to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.
John studied at Olympic, Bremerton, WA 1975. He was on the wrestling team.
He served in the Airforce as an Airman First Class in the 6314 Security Police Squadron unit for 20 months.
John was a dedicated employee at Port Seattle Teamsters/Longshore until his retirement in 2005.
John received his Private Pilot licenses in 2000 which fulfilled his joy of flying. He loved sports track and field, wrestling and the Seahawks. John had a fetish for shoes/boots.
Despite having no children of his own. John donated annually to children causes, such as St. Jude and Shriner hospital.
John had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and enjoyed spending his free time cruising the open road with his buddies. John was known as KnuckleHead, after his pride and joy a 1941 Harley Davidson KnuckleHead motorcycle.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and we take comfort in knowing that he is now flying high with the angels.
